Position Title: Social Media Specialist
Location: US - Remote
Reports to: Sr. Manager of Social Media Strategy
About the role
LTK is seeking a Social Media Specialist to help bring LTK’s social presence to life through compelling, platform-native content across Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, YouTube and other emerging social channels.
This is a highly creative, hands-on role for someone who deeply understands social media, culture, creators, trends and visual storytelling. This person will support the day-to-day creation of social-first content across LTK’s consumer and corporate channels, helping translate brand messages, creator stories, product updates, company moments and cultural trends into content that feels fresh, engaging and right for each platform.
The ideal candidate is a strong content creator and social storyteller who can concept, shoot, edit, write and publish content that captures attention. They are fluent in short-form video, social trends, platform behaviors and community engagement. They know what makes content feel native to each platform, and they are excited to experiment with new formats, hooks, series and creative approaches.
This role reports to the Senior Manager, Social Media Strategy and will work closely with PR, content marketing, product marketing, creator, brand and design teams.
How you will make an impact
Social Content Creation
Create original social-first content for LTK’s owned channels, including short-form video, Reels, TikToks, carousels, graphics, social copy, stories and other platform-native formats
Concept, shoot and edit content that brings LTK’s brand, creators, products, campaigns and company stories to life
Turn brand messages, product updates, creator stories, press moments and cultural trends into engaging social content
Help develop creative ideas for recurring series, editorial franchises, trend moments and campaign content
Write clear, engaging and platform-appropriate captions, hooks, overlays and social copy
Ensure content feels current, visually compelling, social-native and aligned with LTK’s brand voice
Platform Execution
Support day-to-day publishing across LTK’s consumer and corporate social channels, including Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, YouTube and other relevant platforms
Adapt content for each platform based on audience expectations, creative best practices and format needs
Monitor platform trends, conversations and cultural moments to identify content opportunities for LTK
Help maintain a consistent publishing cadence across channels
Support community engagement by monitoring comments, identifying conversation opportunities and helping LTK show up in a timely, relevant way
Performance & Learning
Track content performance and use learnings to improve future creative
Help identify which formats, hooks, topics and creative approaches are resonating with LTK’s audiences
Bring ideas for how to evolve content based on platform insights and audience behavior
Stay curious and experimental, helping the team test new creative approaches and move quickly based on what is working
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Work closely with PR, brand strategy, integrated marketing, creator, brand, product and design teams to support social content needs
Collaborate with internal teams to gather information, assets, product details, creator stories and campaign context
Support the Senior Manager, Social Media Strategy in maintaining social calendars, content plans and publishing workflows
Help ensure social content supports broader company priorities while still feeling native to each platform
What you will bring to LTK
2–4 years of experience in social media, content creation, editorial content or a related field
Strong hands-on content creation skills, including concepting, shooting and editing short-form video
Deep understanding of Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn and YouTube, including what works creatively on each platform
Strong visual eye and understanding of social-first storytelling
Ability to write engaging captions, hooks, overlays and short-form copy
Comfortable being behind the camera and, when needed, capturing content in real time
Experience using social editing and creative tools
Strong understanding of social trends, creator culture, internet culture and platform behaviors
Creative, resourceful and excited to generate new ideas quickly
Highly organized and able to manage multiple content requests, deadlines and channels
Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams

Preferred Experience
Experience creating content for a consumer, lifestyle, retail, creator economy, media, fashion, beauty or technology brand
Experience creating short-form video for TikTok, Instagram Reels and YouTube Shorts
Experience supporting live event or real-time social coverage
Familiarity with creator marketing, affiliate marketing, social commerce or influencer marketing
