Description:
• Build, customize, and optimize Shopify themes and landing pages using Liquid, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and JSON.
• Develop mobile-first storefront experiences that improve load times, performance, and user experience.
• Refine checkout flows, upsells, cross-sells, and subscription features to improve conversion rates and average order value.
• Collaborate with designers and developers to translate wireframes and concepts into functional interfaces.
• Recommend, integrate, and maintain Shopify apps and vendor platforms such as ReCharge, Klaviyo, ReBuy, AfterSell, and Okendo.
• Participate in peer reviews, testing cycles, and quality checks before deployment.
• Conduct storefront and landing page audits, troubleshoot issues, and support site monitoring and debugging.
• Use Shopify Analytics, GA, and other tools to track performance and user behavior.
• Plan and implement A/B tests and data-driven improvements to digital experiences.
• Support security, backup, accessibility, and compliance practices across digital environments.
Requirements:
• 3–5 years of hands-on experience with Shopify theme development using Liquid, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Experience with Shopify Admin API and GraphQL API.
• Experience with single-page application principles.
• Experience with frontend frameworks such as React or Vue is a plus.
• Proficiency in responsive design, mobile optimization, and SEO best practices.
• Experience using Git and CI/CD workflows.
• Understanding of accessibility standards (WCAG), cross-browser/device testing, and scalable website best practices.
• Bachelor’s degree in Web Development, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• A portfolio of Shopify storefronts, landing pages, or similar projects.
• Experience with e-commerce health, wellness, or supplement brands is a plus.
• Experience with third-party e-commerce apps such as ReCharge, Klaviyo, Yotpo, or Rebuy is preferred.
• Shopify certifications or coursework are preferred.
