About the Role Our client, a rapidly expanding digital marketing agency based in Detroit, Michigan , is looking for a skilled and analytical SEO and SEM Specialist to join their high-performing team. This role is designed for a motivated individual passionate about driving organic and paid search visibility for a diverse portfolio of clients. You will be responsible for developing and implementing cutting-edge strategies to improve search engine rankings, increase website traffic, and optimize paid search campaigns for maximum ROI. Key Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive keyword research and analysis to identify opportunities for both organic and paid search. Develop and execute effective SEO strategies, including on-page optimization, technical SEO, and link building. Create, manage, and optimize paid search campaigns (PPC/SEM) across platforms like Google Ads and Bing Ads. Monitor and analyze website traffic, rankings, and campaign performance using tools like Google Analytics, SEMrush, and Ahrefs. Prepare detailed performance reports for clients, providing insights and recommendations for improvement. Stay current with search engine algorithm updates, industry trends, and best practices in SEO and SEM. Collaborate with content creators and web developers to implement SEO recommendations. Manage ad budgets effectively and ensure campaigns meet client objectives and KPIs. Identify and implement conversion rate optimization (CRO) strategies for landing pages and ad copy. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field. Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in SEO and SEM, preferably within an agency setting. Proven track record of improving search rankings and driving qualified traffic through SEO initiatives. Demonstrated success in managing and optimizing PPC campaigns with significant budgets. Proficiency with SEO tools (e.g., SEMrush, Ahrefs, Moz, Google Search Console) and analytics platforms (e.g., Google Analytics). Strong understanding of Google Ads and other relevant paid advertising platforms. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail. Ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Familiarity with website analytics and reporting tools. Creative thinking and a passion for staying updated with the latest digital marketing trends.
