A rapidly growing consumer fintech organization is looking to hire a Senior Full Stack Engineer for a high-impact product team. The role is primarily remote, but candidates located in the DC area are especially considered. The company builds a platform that helps users navigate complex, high-stakes financial decisions through a combination of public-facing web applications, internal operational tools, and supporting data systems.
The technology stack spans modern full stack development, including Python, React, TypeScript, PostgreSQL, and cloud-based infrastructure.
This is a high-ownership engineering opportunity within a product team that is still in the early stages of platform development. A significant portion of the work is greenfield, giving engineers meaningful influence over architecture, technical direction, and system design from the ground up.
Required Skills & Experience
• 7+ years of professional software engineering experience
• Strong experience building full stack applications in production environments
• Professional experience with Python and backend frameworks (e.g., FastAPI or similar)
• Experience with React and TypeScript
• Experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL
• Familiarity with cloud environments (AWS or similar)
• Experience with modern engineering practices including CI/CD and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes)
