Position Summary
Support the TRMC Director and Deputy Director in executing the Improving Range Access to Accelerate Innovation initiative by leading the Range Scheduling and Optimization mission. The SME drives infrastructure and solution development that increases DoW test range capacity, closes capability gaps, and aligns scheduling-optimization investments to current and future test needs.
Responsibilities
Supervise and manage all aspects of the Range Scheduling and Optimization mission for TRMC in support of the Director and Deputy Director.
Lead TRMC-sponsored infrastructure and solution development to increase DoW test range capacity — including complex range gap analysis, technology requirements definition, and alignment to investment priorities.
Support application of digital engineering, AI, and ML technologies across DoW testing environments.
Direct development and assessment of new technologies, techniques, and processes that drive competition and resolve challenging range scheduling problems.
Work with the Director, Deputy Director, and portfolio/program managers to ensure scheduling-optimization investments align to current and future DoW testing needs.
Steer technology and support-tool development for multi-domain activities tailored to individual range domains, assets, and local realities — integrated with DoW test and training requirements via asset management/redesign and scheduling alternatives.
Execute other duties as assigned by the Director/Deputy Director.
Required Qualifications
12+ years directly relevant experience in DoW test range and flight test operations, range management, and user-side range operations.
Demonstrated leadership of multi-organizational DoW test range infrastructure and capability-development efforts.
Strong command of RDT&E program and prototype management for efficient, cooperative DoW technology testing.
Solid test planning and integration skills.
Proven leadership/management experience.
Active Top Secret clearance, SCI eligible.
Desired Qualifications
TS/SCI
Registered Professional Engineer; DAWIA Level 3 (T&E / Engineering and Program Management).
Experience consolidating or restructuring range organizations to improve efficiency.
Executive-level briefing and stakeholder-management skills across DoW test ranges.
Self-motivated, proactive, strong analytical attention to detail.
Proficient in Microsoft Office.
