About the Role Our client, a global manufacturing leader, is seeking a skilled Senior Project Manager to lead supply chain optimization initiatives from their operations center in **Provo, Utah**. This role is critical for enhancing efficiency, reducing costs, and improving the overall performance of our supply chain network. You will manage projects focused on inventory management, logistics, procurement, and demand forecasting, working closely with internal teams and external partners. The ideal candidate possesses extensive experience in supply chain management and project leadership, with a strong analytical mindset and a proven ability to drive strategic improvements. This hybrid role offers a blend of office-based collaboration and potential for site visits, contributing to a more robust and agile supply chain. Key Responsibilities Lead the planning, execution, and completion of supply chain optimization projects. Develop detailed project plans, including scope, objectives, deliverables, timelines, and resource allocation. Analyze supply chain data to identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and areas for improvement. Manage cross-functional teams involved in logistics, procurement, inventory management, and distribution. Oversee vendor performance and contract negotiations within the supply chain. Implement and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track project success and operational efficiency. Ensure projects align with overall company strategy and contribute to cost savings and service level improvements. Communicate project status, risks, and recommendations to senior management and stakeholders. Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the supply chain function. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or a related field. Master's degree or PMP certification preferred. Minimum of 6 years of experience in project management, with a strong focus on supply chain, logistics, or operations. Proven experience managing complex projects related to inventory optimization, transportation, warehousing, or procurement. Strong understanding of supply chain principles, best practices, and relevant technologies (e.g., ERP, WMS, TMS). Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Asana) and data analysis tools. Excellent leadership, analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work effectively in a dynamic environment. Experience working in a hybrid capacity or collaborating with remote team members. Must be authorized to work in the US.
