The Team: The Wealth Management product group is within the Digital Advisor Experience (DAX) organization, which includes a Product Director, two Product Managers, a Principal Architect, and Product Owners across multiple product teams. Our collective mission is to deliver trusted, enterprise-grade wealth and product data foundations that power Thrivent's advisor experiences, portfolio management, and downstream enterprise systems. We operate within the product operating model, emphasizing strong cross-functional collaboration between product, design, engineering, and enterprise data stakeholders. The Role: We are seeking a Senior/Seasoned Product Owner for our Wealth Data Services product. This team is responsible for ensuring that all wealth account and product data is accurate, accessible, and actionable across the enterprise through unified data platforms and API-based services. The product scope includes: • Wealth inbound data feeds (brokerage, non-proprietary, and trust) • Data ingestion, validation, and enterprise publishing pipelines • Compliance and supervision reporting (13G, FINRA/OCC auditing, TIW reports) • Brokerage reporting systems and books & records management • Operational and analytics reporting to support BD/IA, EIS, DEME, and Trust consumers The Senior Product Owner will serve as the primary voice of the customer for their delivery team, translating strategic product objectives into a well-prioritized, outcome-driven backlog. You understand how to connect product strategy to team-level execution, maintain a healthy backlog with clear acceptance criteria, and use evidence-based decision-making to prioritize ruthlessly. Not looking for someone who is currently in a Business Analyst position. • Data Domain Expertise: Experience with enterprise data platforms, data ingestion/ETL pipelines, data quality frameworks, or reporting systems. Comfort working with complex data architectures and understanding how data flows across systems is essential — you don't need to write SQL, but you need to think in data models. • Financial Services Acumen: Background in wealth management, brokerage, or investment advisory services is strongly preferred. Familiarity with broker-dealer operations, compliance reporting (FINRA, SEC), and trust/custody data environments will allow you to hit the ground running. • Stakeholder Management: Proven ability to align and communicate across a diverse stakeholder landscape — from engineering teams and architects to compliance, operations, BD/IA leadership, and enterprise platform teams (EIS, DEME). You can translate technical complexity into business-relevant language and vice versa. • Vendor & Platform Oversight: Experience managing vendor relationships, data feed integrations, and third-party platform dependencies. Comfort evaluating vendor capabilities, negotiating SLAs, and holding partners accountable to data quality and delivery standards. • Legacy Modernization Experience: Track record of guiding teams through platform migrations, system decommissioning, or cloud transformations — ideally in environments where "keep the lights on" and "build the futu Apply tot his job Apply To this Job
