The Role: Senior Manager, Provider Partner
This role is pivotal in driving the success of our provider engagement strategies, ensuring that our network is robust, accessible, and committed to delivering high-quality care. As a Senior Manager, Provider Partner, you will be responsible for supervising and guiding provider engagement staff, developing strategic plans to address network gaps, and mentoring your team to excel in provider recruitment and engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and guide provider engagement staff to ensure they meet cost and access goals.
- Develop and implement strategic action plans to address network gaps and improve provider engagement.
- Authorize and negotiate special deals to enhance our network offerings.
- Create and implement provider education curriculum to ensure our providers are up-to-date with the latest practices and policies.
- Manage and analyze provider cost reports to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Participate in and present at client, organized dentistry, and key stakeholder meetings/events.
- Identify continuous improvement opportunities and implement process improvements.
- Coordinate and implement performance management strategies for team members, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations.
What You Bring to the Role
To succeed as a Senior Manager, Provider Partner, you need a strong foundation in healthcare administration, managed care, or a related field, along with a proven track record of leadership and strategic planning. The ideal candidate will have:
- A Bachelor's degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in a healthcare practice or managed care environment.
- A minimum of 5 years of supervisory or management experience.
- Previous experience in Medicaid or a similar government program is highly valued.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Proven problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound judgments based on data analysis.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and the ability to learn new systems and technologies.
Preferred Qualifications
While not mandatory, the following qualifications can significantly enhance your candidacy:
- An MBA or MHA degree.
- Supervisory or leadership experience in a healthcare or managed care setting.
- Experience in customer service and provider relations.
- A background in communicating with and training provider offices and customers.
