Job Description

POSITION SUMMARY

We areseekingaskilled Front-End Developer withexpertisein React to join our development team. The ideal candidate willbe responsible fordeveloping andmaintaininguser interfaces, integrating with our Django backend, and ensuring seamless user experiences. You will collaborate closely with our backend developers, designers, and product managers to deliver high-quality applications.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

  • Develop andmaintainuser interfaces using React.js.

  • Collaborate with backend developers to integrate APIs and ensure seamless data flow.

  • Manage application state using Redux and related libraries (e.g., Redux Toolkit, ReduxThunk).

  • Optimizecomponents for maximum performance across a variety of devices and browsers.

  • Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices.

  • Participate in code reviews tomaintaincode quality and share knowledge with the team.

  • Troubleshoot and debug issues to improve application performance and usability.

  • Designersandtranslate wireframes and mockups into responsive, interactive features.

  • Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs.

  • Develop andmaintainCI/CD pipelines usingGitHubor similar tooling

  • Automate build, test, and deployment processes for backend applications.

  • Ensure application reliability and performance through proactive monitoring and troubleshooting.

  • Provide robust operational support for the application,troubleshootingand resolving issues to minimize downtime.

Qualifications

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor'sdegree with five (5) or more years work experience

  • 4+ years of experience inFrontenddevelopmentwith React.

  • Relevant certifications in AWS or related technologies are a plus.

KNOWLEDGE SKILLS & ABILITIES:

  • Proven experience as a Front-End Developer or similar role.

  • Strongproficiencyin JavaScript, including DOM manipulation and the JavaScript object model.

  • Thorough understanding of React.js and its core principles.

  • Experience with popular React.js workflows (such as Redux or Context API).

  • Familiarity with Redux and state management patterns.

  • Experience with RESTful APIs andintegratingfrontend applications with backend services.

  • Knowledge of modern authorization mechanisms, such asJSONWeb Token.

  • Proficient in HTML5, CSS3, and responsive design principles.

  • Experience with TypeScriptandFamiliarity withGraphQL.

  • Knowledge of testing frameworks and tools (e.g., Jest, Enzyme, React Testing Library).

  • Understanding ofSEO principles and ensuring that applications adhere to them.

  • Experience with version control systems, such as Git.

  • Understanding ofsecurity best practices and compliance standards.

  • Experience with Sentry for error tracking and monitoring.

  • Familiarity with AWS services, especially those used in conjunction with Django.

  • Knowledge of Docker and containerization technologies.
