Umbra builds next-generation space systems that observe the Earth in unprecedented fidelity. We're seeking a talented and motivated Senior DevOps Engineer to join our team.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field; or equivalent work experience.
- 8+ years of cloud infrastructure, DevOps, or cloud engineering experience.
- Knowledge of microservices and serverless architectures.
- Deep working knowledge of AWS services and best practices.
- Expertise in infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, CloudFormation, or equivalent).
- Proficiency in Python, Go, or another scripting/programming language.
- Strong experience with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes).
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain CI/CD pipelines (GitLab, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, etc.).
- Familiarity with monitoring, logging, and observability tools (Datadog, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, etc.).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
