DO NOT waste your time IF • You are a generic project coordinator or PM with limited analytics or reporting BA depth • You have never owned a BRD or RTM • You have never led KPI-definition or KPI-refinement sessions • You are strong in HR operations but weak in data, analytics, or reporting requirements • You are strong in dashboards or reporting consumption but have not translated business needs into formal requirements About the role We are hiring a senior business analyst who can work with HR leaders, operational SMEs, and technical teams to validate KPIs, refine business requirements, and convert fragmented reporting needs into a governed analytics product. This is not a generic BA role. The right person can challenge ambiguous metrics, lead structured discovery sessions, write usable requirements, manage traceability, and translate business questions into data model, reporting, and platform needs. This role supports an enterprise HR data and analytics implementation built on Azure and Databricks. The ideal candidate has led requirements and KPI-definition work for HR, workforce, or enterprise analytics programs involving multiple source systems, competing stakeholder priorities, and formal deliverables such as BRDs, RTMs, user stories, and acceptance criteria. What you will own • Facilitate discovery workshops and requirements validation sessions with business and technical stakeholders • Validate, refine, and document KPIs with HR and operational stakeholders • Create BRD, RTM, user stories, acceptance criteria, and business/data process flows • Translate fragmented reporting needs into clear, prioritized analytics and data requirements • Work across executives, SMEs, architects, engineers, and reporting teams to drive clarity and decisions • Support UAT traceability and business validation • Help convert business needs into actionable backlog items for architecture, engineering, analytics, and reporting teams Required experience • 5+ years in business analysis for analytics, reporting, enterprise data, or digital transformation programs • Strong experience with KPI definition, requirements elicitation, and requirements traceability • Strong experience producing BRDs, RTMs, user stories, acceptance criteria, and process flows • Experience facilitating workshops with both business SMEs and technical delivery teams • Experience working in Agile / Scrum delivery models • Strong writing, workshop facilitation, and document discipline • U.S.-based and authorized to work in the United States Strongly preferred • HR analytics, workforce analytics, recruiting metrics, employee lifecycle reporting, or people systems experience • Public sector, higher education, healthcare, or other regulated-environment experience • Experience with multiple source systems being consolidated into a unified analytics or reporting model • Experience supporting UAT and release-readiness traceability • Familiarity with Jira, Azure DevOps, Confluence, Visio, Lucidchart, Miro, or similar tools • SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, or related HR credential is welcome, but not required Apply tot his job Apply To this Job
