About the Role:
We are looking for a Senior Bookkeeper to assist in managing financial records for our client. This role requires expertise in bookkeeping, accounts payable/receivable, reconciliations, and financial reporting. The position is fully remote and offers flexibility while being part of a growing team.
Responsibilities:
Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.
Process accounts payable and receivable.
Perform bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow.
Assist in preparing financial reports and statements.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
Ensure compliance with accounting principles and regulations.
Collaborate with accountants to assist with audits and tax returns.
Assist in preparing financial data for budgeting and forecasting.
Monitor and report on the organization’s financial status.
Handle payroll and other administrative financial tasks.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a bookkeeper or in a similar role.
Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Experience with financial reporting and reconciliations.
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure.
Strong communication skills (written and verbal).
Ability to work independently and remotely.
Knowledge of payroll processing and compliance.
Experience with audits and tax filings is an advantage.
