Senior Accounting Manager - East Coast Remote

Publicly Traded Technology Company CPA Required A high-growth public technology company is seeking a Senior Accounting Manager to join its expanding finance organization. This is a highly visible role supporting a fast-paced business environment and partnering closely with leadership across accounting, finance, FP&A, and operations. The ideal candidate brings a strong foundation in technical accounting and month-end close, thrives in a dynamic environment, and enjoys building scalable processes within a public company setting. Responsibilities • Lead key aspects of the monthly, quarterly, and annual close process • Oversee general ledger activity, reconciliations, accruals, and financial reporting support • Partner cross-functionally with FP&A, tax, audit, and operational teams • Support SEC reporting processes and public company compliance requirements • Assist with technical accounting research and implementation of new accounting standards • Drive process improvements, automation initiatives, and internal control enhancements • Mentor and develop junior accounting team members • Support external audit requests and SOX compliance activities Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance • CPA strongly preferred • 7+ years of accounting experience, including public accounting and/or public company experience • Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP and internal controls • Experience in the technology or SaaS industry preferred • Familiarity with ERP systems such as NetSuite, Oracle, or SAP • Ability to operate independently in a remote environment while collaborating across teams Why Join • Opportunity to join a recognized and growing public tech company • High visibility and exposure to executive leadership • Collaborative, high-performing finance team • Competitive compensation package including bonus and equity • Fully remote flexibility for East Coast-based candidates • Strong culture focused on innovation, ownership, and career growth
