About the Role:
Direct report to the VP of Finance, responsible for managing the month-end close process, maintaining the general ledger, enforcing financial controls, and ensuring compliance with GAAP.
Key Responsibilities:
Month-End Close & Audit
Prepare and review reconciliations
Support timely and accurate month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close
Maintain audit-ready workpapers, schedules, and supporting documentation
Respond to auditor requests and assist with walkthroughs and testing
Inventory Accounting
Reconcile inventory AP subledgers to the general ledger
Partner with Operations and Supply Chain to resolve pricing, quantity, and timing discrepancies
Support inventory costing accuracy and cutoff during month-end close
Qualifications/Requirement
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
3-5 years of experience
Strong understanding of accrual accounting and GAAP
Experience using an ERP
Proficiency with Excel (XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, pivot tables, reconciliations)
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to manage deadlines and handle multiple priorities in a high-volume environment
Excellent communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally
