Your role ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Exhibits a personal commitment to performance. Expect a high level of achievement from staff members. Manages auditor performance by establishing performance objectives, providing feedback and guidance, and ensuring that all policies are understood and adhered to.  Manages audit scheduling to ensure audits are confirmed according to sector and/or business goals. Manages KPI performance on a monthly basis and drives improvements. Assures that audits within the sector are conducted in a cost effective manner and conforming to DQS policies and procedures and accreditation requirements. Maintains proper employee and contract auditor resource levels for assigned sector by monitoring workload demands and business development feedback. Assures customer satisfaction by addressing any customer complaints or concerns regarding audit activities conducted within the assigned sector. Ensures the application of uniform interpretations of applicable standards among and between industries.   Manages continuous improvement by analyzing customer, accreditation body and internal data and implementing corrective and preventive actions. Interacts with key customers as appropriate. Works cooperatively with global counterparts in servicing global accounts and resolving technical issues. Represents DQS to outside constituencies and forms relationships with industry associations, influential members of the management systems community. Reviews audit reports for conformance to internal and external requirements for purposes of certification decision and auditor feedback. Perform audits as needed. Other tasks may be required or assigned. Your profile EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION REQUIRED: University Degree (Equivalent to a U.S. Bachelor’s degree) in Engineering, Business or a related discipline plus three years of experience conducting management system assessments. Must be a qualified Lead Auditor in two or more management system standards. Detailed knowledge of the management systems business in the U.S. Detailed knowledge of ISO 17021 required. Working knowledge of several industry codes. Demonstrated ability to evaluate staff performance and provide effective coaching. Demonstrated ability to manage performance objectives, staffing and budgets. Demonstrated ability to lead geographically dispersed teams in accomplishing goals.    Demonstrated ability to develop and implement strategies, build business plans where and when necessary and speak publicly.
