Job Description
Career.aliyucares is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Remote Scrum Master to join our innovative and growing team. As a core member of our product development unit, you will play a pivotal role in fostering agile principles, facilitating effective communication, and guiding our distributed development teams to deliver exceptional value. In this role, you will be responsible for championing Scrum within our organization, ensuring our teams understand and embody agile values. You will serve as a servant leader, coaching and empowering our Product Owners and Development Teams, helping them to navigate complexities and maximize efficiency. We are looking for a proactive problem-solver, a skilled facilitator, and a true advocate for continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities
• Facilitate all Scrum ceremonies, including Daily Scrums, Sprint Planning, Sprint Review, and Sprint Retrospective, ensuring they are productive and time-boxed.
• Coach the Development Team on self-organization and cross-functionality, fostering an environment of collaboration and continuous improvement.
• Support the Product Owner in managing the product backlog, ensuring proper refinement and prioritization.
• Identify and remove impediments that hinder the team's progress, escalating when necessary to appropriate stakeholders.
• Protect the Development Team from external interruptions and distractions.
• Guide the team in establishing realistic sprint goals and achieving commitments.
• Promote a culture of transparency, inspection, and adaptation within the Scrum Team.
• Educate stakeholders on Scrum principles and practices to ensure alignment and support.
• Track and report on key agile metrics to provide insights into team performance and areas for improvement.
Required Skills
• Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or Professional Scrum Master (PSM I) certification.
• Minimum of 3 years of proven experience as a Scrum Master for a software development team.
• Deep understanding of Agile principles and Scrum framework.
• Exceptional facilitation, coaching, and conflict resolution skills.
• Proficiency with remote collaboration tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, Miro, Slack, Zoom).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively with diverse, geographically dispersed teams.
Preferred Qualifications
• Advanced Scrum Master certification (e.g., PSM II, A-CSM).
• Experience with scaled Agile frameworks (e.g., SAFe, LeSS).
• Background in software development or technical project management.
• Experience in the IT consulting or SaaS industry.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and continuous delivery pipelines.
• Proficiency in Italian is considered a plus.
