Working onsite, you’ll collaborate with educators and families to foster student participation and functional skills within both classroom and school community settings.
Key Qualifications:
• Active Occupational Therapy license, or eligibility to obtain licensure, in Oregon
• Previous experience or interest in school-based occupational therapy services
• Comfortable working with K-12 caseloads, adapting strategies for diverse needs and age groups
• Strong communication skills to partner with students, families, teachers, and support staff
• Commitment to upholding confidentiality, professionalism, and ethical standards
Primary Responsibilities:
• Conduct assessments and develop individualized intervention plans to address students’ motor, sensory, and adaptive skill needs
• Deliver direct and consultative therapy services in accordance with IEP goals
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement effective accommodations and supports
• Provide training and resources to staff to facilitate inclusion in school activities
• Maintain thorough and timely documentation and progress reports
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to goal setting and progress evaluation
• Adapt therapy approaches to changing needs within a K-12 educational setting
This position offers a structured, 40-hour workweek and an opportunity to support students from August 20, 2026, through June 14, 2027. You will play a crucial role on campus, helping students thrive academically and socially by addressing barriers to learning.
