Job Description:
• Research and identify potential leads through outbound prospecting (phone calls, emails, social media) and inbound lead follow-up.
• Qualify leads based on specific criteria and set up meetings with the sales team and company conference representatives /attendees (when supporting lead generation for conferences).
• Effectively cold call and email leads, nurturing relationships and converting prospects into sales opportunities.
• Accurately enter and maintain detailed records of customer interactions in the CRM system, ensuring data is up to date and properly categorized.
• Work closely with Account Executives and Product Marketing Managers to develop targeted outreach strategies and ensure smooth transitions for qualified leads.
• Generate and maintain a consistent pipeline of qualified leads and contribute to the achievement of sales targets.
• Stay up to date with industry trends, product knowledge, and competitor activity to better engage with prospects and tailor outreach.
• Track and report key performance metrics, including calls made, emails sent, meetings booked, and conversions, to ensure continuous improvement and goal alignment.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree or current matriculation with intent to complete in a life sciences, business, or related field is ideal.
• Knowledge and experience with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) is a plus, but not required.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport quickly.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to manage time effectively and handle multiple tasks.
