About the Role KodeKloud is expanding and we’re hiring an SDR to generate and qualify pipeline across enterprise, government, and higher-ed accounts. You’ll run outbound campaigns, build relationships with decision makers and technical stakeholders, and partner with AEs to convert interest into qualified meetings and opportunities. ● Experience: 3 to 4+ years in B2B SaaS, edtech, or technology sales (outbound SDR/BDR or similar). ● Language Skills: Strong English communication skills (written and spoken). ● Outbound Discipline: Comfortable with high-quality outbound prospecting, objection handling, and consistent follow-up. ● Technical familiarity: Familiarity with DevOps, Cloud, Kubernetes, CI/CD, and how modern engineering teams operate (conversational level, not hands-on). ● Technical stakeholder credibility: Ability to speak credibly with Engineering Managers, DevOpsLeads, and Platform/SRE teams and translate technical needs into clear value. ● Tooling & Process: Comfortable using at least 4 of the following outbound tools: Apollo, Clay,Firecrawl, HubSpot, Lemlist, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Lusha, PhantomBuster. ● Proactivity & Drive: Self-starter with curiosity, coachability, and resilience in a fast-paced environment. ● Organizational Skills: Ability to prioritize, multitask, and manage multiple threads across accounts. ● Education: Bachelor’s degree preferred; relevant experience and performance matter most. ● Lead Generation: Identify and research target accounts across universities, enterprises, and government entities that can benefit from KodeKloud’s training solutions. Map stakeholders and buying committees. ● Outbound Outreach: Run outbound sequences across email, phone, LinkedIn, and events to introduce KodeKloud, uncover pain points, and start qualified conversations. ● Discovery & Qualification: Ask structured discovery questions (use case, urgency, stakeholders,success criteria, procurement motion) and qualify opportunities before handoff. ● Pipeline Support: Partner closely with Account Executives to book qualified meetings, share crisp context/notes, and ensure smooth handoff and progression. ● Event & Partner Follow-up: Support regional events and ecosystem partners by driving pre-event outreach and converting post-event interest into meetings and pipeline. ● CRM & Hygiene: Maintain clean CRM records of activities, notes, next steps, and pipelinestages to support reporting and forecasting. ● Market Insight: Stay current on regional education, workforce, and technology trends.
