Job Summary
We're seeking a highly skilled Senior Framework Designer to lead the design, development, and implementation of our IT infrastructure. As a key member of our FHE group, you'll be responsible for configuring, assembling, upgrading, and coordinating the necessary technology infrastructure to support various portfolios. Your expertise will ensure site reliability and system availability through the enforcement of corporate security and service policies, data handling office determinations, technology guidelines, processes, and training.
Key Responsibilities
As a Senior Framework Designer, you'll have a significant impact on our organization by:
* Providing proactive identification of risks and creating and executing remediation plans
* Offering guidance or direction to less experienced staff within a team of server farm engineers covering 7 x 24 x 365+
* Managing the planning of installations, decommissions, research, and investigation of equipment and natural events related to server farm availability
* Supervising the development of site-specific tasks, policies, and procedures in collaboration with the Corporate Properties Committee and other site management partners
* Leading or participating in high-level technical discussions spanning technology and business
* Developing specifications for complex infrastructure frameworks, designing and testing solutions
* Contributing to the testing of business, application, and technical system requirements
* Driving solutions to reduce recovery time
* Auditing and examining solutions for cloud security, privileged access management, and key revolutions
* Designing, coding, testing, investigating, and recording programs using Agile development practices
* Planning complex system upgrades
* Resolving problematic trends as they arise
* Developing a long-term plan to prevent issues and ensure they don't recur
* Directing the daily risk and control stream of tasks, focusing on strategies, processes, and work guidelines to ensure a successful outcome
* Collaborating and communicating with colleagues, associates, and directors to resolve issues and achieve objectives
Required Capabilities
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
* 4+ years of experience in Innovation Framework Designing and Solutions, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, or education
* 4+ years of server farm experience
* Strong knowledge of server, storage, data center, and network equipment
* Experience supporting technology at a project level
* Capability with Layer 1 Foundation Plan
* Broad knowledge of server farm operations (space, power, cooling, and network)
* In-depth knowledge and understanding of IPv4 and IPv6 subnetting and VLAN technologies to perform FQDN generation and tasks
* Ability to collaborate effectively at different levels of the business and technical associations, including management

* Experience working with cloud security, privileged access management, and key revolutions
* Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal skills
