As a Customer Service Specialist – Government and Corporate Affairs Liaison, you'll be an integral part of our Corporate Affairs Team within the Government Affairs Division. Your primary responsibility will be to promote and sell air travel on arenaflex, while providing exceptional customer service to our valued clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Promotes and sells air travel on arenaflex
- Prepares itineraries, computes fares, issues refunds, and prepares and issues tickets
- Answers inquiries regarding general travel information and resolves customer problems in a mutually beneficial manner
- Communicates with customers over the phone when researching passenger complaints, advising of cancelled or delayed flights
- Communicates new rules, policies, and procedures that would affect the customer
All You'll Need for Success
To excel in this role, you'll need to possess the following qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience/training
- Ability to demonstrate excellent leadership, organizational, and customer contact skills
- Knowledge of Native SABRE
- Ability to be resourceful and creative at immediate problem resolution
- Ability to demonstrate a high level of initiative, exercise good judgment, and be dependable
- Satisfactory attendance required
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience in customer service or a related field
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software applications
