Program Manager IV – Retail Business Planning (Contract) Location Remote (Bay Area candidates only) Client Location: Cupertino, CA Pay Rate - $100-104/hr on W2 Duration Contract role through October 2, 2026 (with potential extension) 40 hours per week About the Role We are seeking a strategic and results-driven Program Manager IV to lead and execute key initiatives within a Retail Business Planning function, with a focus on Small & Medium Business (SMB) programs. This role requires a highly proactive individual who can operate independently, build strong cross-functional relationships, and influence senior leadership through data-driven insights. The ideal candidate thrives in fast-paced environments, demonstrates a strong sense of urgency, and can balance collaboration with decisive ownership. Key Responsibilities Program Leadership • Lead end-to-end program management, from strategic planning through execution and tracking • Drive weekly working sessions, business reviews, and leadership updates • Prepare high-quality materials for senior leadership presentations Operational Excellence • Maintain accurate program documentation, trackers, and reporting artifacts • Manage and prioritize multiple workstreams, including urgent and high-impact requests • Ensure clear, concise, and error-free communication across stakeholders Strategic Integration • Develop and implement frameworks to integrate SMB initiatives across retail operations • Align program goals with broader organizational priorities and workflows Stakeholder & Risk Management • Partner with cross-functional teams to drive alignment and execution • Identify and manage risks, dependencies, and program timelines • Proactively engage stakeholders to support key decisions Data-Driven Influence • Build compelling, data-backed narratives to communicate program impact • Influence senior leadership and drive strategic decision-making • Engage both technical and business teams effectively Required Qualifications • 7+ years of experience in program management, business operations, or management consulting • Proven experience managing complex, cross-functional programs • Strong ability to influence stakeholders and senior leadership • Excellent problem-solving and strategic thinking skills • Exceptional communication and presentation skills Preferred Qualifications • Experience working with Small & Medium Business (SMB) programs • Background in retail, consumer business, or store operations • Familiarity with field sales organizations or direct-to-customer models • Experience in fast-paced or large-scale tech environments Core Competencies • Strategic Problem Solving: Ability to identify challenges and drive actionable solutions • Stakeholder Alignment: Skilled in building relationships and aligning priorities • Ownership & Prioritization: Strong execution mindset with ability to manage competing priorities • Executive Communication: Ability to deliver clear, concise, and impactful messaging Apply tot his job Apply To this Job
