Oxford Solutions has a direct hire opening with a client for an experienced Project Manager to lead consulting engagements focused on retail operations and productivity improvement.
This role offers remote flexibility within the United States, with significant travel required.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a client-facing environment, enjoys leading multiple projects, and has a strong foundation in operations, process improvement, or industrial engineering.
Responsibilities
• Lead multiple client engagements, managing scope, timelines, budgets, and deliverables
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing clear communication and project updates
• Develop and manage project plans, workstreams, and team coordination
• Conduct operational assessments and identify opportunities for process and productivity improvements
• Support implementation of labor standards, workforce planning, and performance initiatives
• Facilitate cross-functional meetings and workshops to drive alignment and results
• Translate data and analysis into actionable recommendations and client-ready presentations
• Partner with internal and client teams to deliver measurable improvements
• Contribute to ongoing client relationships and identify additional project opportunities
• Travel extensively (approximately 60–80%) to client sites across the U.S. and occasionally internationally
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering or related field
• 7+ years of experience in consulting, operations, or project management roles
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects and client engagements simultaneously
• Experience with workforce management, labor planning, or operational improvement initiatives
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including advanced Excel capabilities
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with experience working with stakeholders at all levels
• Familiarity with Lean principles, time studies, or process improvement methodologies preferred
• Ability to work independently and adapt to changing environments
• Must have reliable transportation and access to a major airport
