Our team is passionate about empowering businesses to succeed, and we're committed to providing the best possible experience for our customers. **Key Responsibilities:** As a Retail Customer Service Associate at arenaflex, you will be responsible for: * Providing exceptional customer service by anticipating customer needs, suggesting alternatives, and finding solutions to meet customer needs * Demonstrating consultative behaviors in a retail environment to understand each customer's individualized needs * Providing expert advice on printing, signs & graphics, and shipping products, including recommending appropriate FedEx Office products and services * Taking complex customer orders using order systems and providing accurate pricing information * Assembling parcels and preparing goods for shipping by wrapping items in insulation, inserting items into shipping containers, weighing packages, and affixing labels to parcels * Setting up and operating printing, binding, and other related equipment using customer-supplied original media and documents * Maintaining a safe, clean, and orderly retail store environment * Ensuring confidentiality of customer data and careful handling of documents, media, and packages * Processing financial transactions using a Point of Sale terminal (POS), including handling cash and making change * Cleaning, repairing, and stocking all retail store printing and shipping equipment and supplies to provide optimal performance and availability * Staying current on retail store merchandising materials and ensuring proper display of all retail area product and signage * Taking preemptive action to prevent errors and waste * Completing required financial paperwork and may assist with financial reporting, including daily sales, close-outs, and bank deposits * Following FedEx Office standard operating procedures as well as adhering to legal, HR, safety, customer service, and security policies and procedures **Essential Qualifications and Requirements:** * High school diploma or equivalent education * 6+ months of specialized experience * Excellent verbal and written communication skills * Ability to stand during entire shift, excluding meal and rest periods * Ability to move and lift 55 pounds * Ability, on a consistent basis, to bend/twist at the waist and knees * Ability, on a consistent basis, to communicate effectively with customers, vendors, and other team members * Ability, on a consistent basis, to perform work activities requiring cooperation and instruction * Ability, on a consistent basis, to function in a fast-paced environment, under substantial pressure * Ability, on a consistent basis, to maintain attention and concentration for extended periods of time * Ability, on a consistent basis, to work with minimal supervision * Ability, on a consistent basis, to report regularly to work and maintain established business hours in order to support the arenaflex business **Preferred Qualifications:** * Experience in a retail or customer service environment * Knowledge of printing, signs & graphics, and shipping products * Ability to work in a team environment and provide excellent customer service * Strong problem-solving and analytical skills * Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively * Basic math skills and accuracy with handling cash and making change **Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits:** As a Retail Customer Service Associate at arenaflex, you will have the opportunity to: * Develop your skills and knowledge in a dynamic and fast-paced retail environment * Work with a talented team of professionals who are passionate about delivering exceptional customer experiences * Participate in ongoing training and development programs to enhance your skills and knowledge * Take on additional responsibilities and contribute to the growth and success of the team * Enjoy a competitive compensation package, including benefits and perks **Work Environment and Company Culture:** arenaflex is committed to creating a positive and inclusive work environment that values diversity, equity, and inclusion.
