[Remote] WordPress Systems Administrator

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Bayforce is seeking a WordPress Systems Administrator to support and maintain the organization's website infrastructure. The role involves managing WordPress environments, ensuring security, performance, and reliability, while collaborating with the Website Manager and Marketing Technology team.

Responsibilities

• Administer, maintain, and optimize the organization's WordPress environment
• Manage website hosting, DNS, SSL certificates, Cloudflare, and related web infrastructure
• Maintain WordPress plugins, themes, platform updates, and overall site health
• Monitor website performance, uptime, availability, and security
• Support and troubleshoot website integrations with internal and third-party applications
• Configure and implement platform enhancements to improve stability, performance, and reliability
• Apply cybersecurity best practices and assist with vulnerability remediation and penetration testing findings
• Troubleshoot complex website infrastructure and platform issues
• Partner with marketing and business stakeholders to support website initiatives and technical requirements
• Provide technical support for HubSpot and other marketing technology integrations as needed

Skills

• 5+ years of experience administering and supporting production WordPress environments
• Strong experience with website hosting, DNS, SSL certificates, Cloudflare, CDN/WAF technologies, and web infrastructure
• Experience supporting website integrations and APIs
• Knowledge of website security, vulnerability management, and cybersecurity best practices
• Strong troubleshooting experience across WordPress and website infrastructure
• Solid understanding of web architecture, hosting, and platform administration
• Experience supporting HubSpot or another CRM/marketing automation platform
• Experience with REST APIs and third-party integrations
• Background in Systems Administration, Infrastructure Engineering, Platform Administration, or IT Operations
• Familiarity with penetration testing remediation
• Experience supporting cloud-hosted web environments
