Workspire is seeking a Talent Operations Specialist to support their growing recruiting business and enhance the candidate and client experience across various industries. This role involves candidate screening, job posting management, and general business operations, with a clear path towards becoming a full-cycle recruiter.
Responsibilities
- Support active searches across construction, engineering, manufacturing, industrial services, and corporate functions
- Create, post, update, and manage job advertisements across recruiting platforms
- Maintain accurate candidate, client, and search information within the applicant tracking system
- Review applicants, support candidate sourcing, and conduct introductory screening calls
- Coordinate interviews, candidate follow-up, preparation, and debriefs
- Prepare candidate profiles, resumes, interview materials, and client-facing submissions
- Provide timely, thoughtful communication throughout the recruiting process
- Learn and apply Workspire’s proprietary recruiting methods, messaging, and candidate-engagement approach
- Shadow candidate interviews, client meetings, search-intake calls, and offer discussions
- Build knowledge of the construction, engineering, manufacturing, and built-infrastructure industries
- Take on increasing ownership of candidate pipelines and searches over time
- Progress toward managing the full recruiting lifecycle independently
- Provide operational and administrative support to the Founder and recruiting team
- Assist with scheduling, reporting, process documentation, presentations, and internal projects
- Help improve organization, efficiency, and consistency across Workspire’s day-to-day operations
Skills
- 2–5 years of experience in recruiting, staffing, talent acquisition, recruiting coordination, business operations, construction, professional services, or a related environment
- Strong interest in building a long-term career in recruitment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
- Comfort managing multiple priorities in a fast-moving, remote environment
- Ability to learn new industries, systems, and recruiting methodologies quickly
- Professional judgment when handling confidential candidate and client information
- Experience within a staffing agency, executive-search firm, construction company, engineering firm, or professional-services business preferred
- Experience with LinkedIn Recruiter, applicant tracking systems, CRM platforms, job boards, Microsoft 365, or Notion preferred
- Bachelor's degree preferred but not required
