[Remote] Systems Administrator

They are seeking a Systems Administrator who will be responsible for maintaining, configuring, and optimizing computer systems, servers, and networks, ensuring system security, and providing technical support.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining, configuring, and optimizing computer systems, servers, and networks
• Providing technical support
• Troubleshooting issues
• Ensuring system security
• Monitoring network performance to ensure efficient operations
• Coordinating software installations
• Managing system updates
• Documenting processes to adhere to organizational best practices

Skills

• Proficiency in System Administration, including configuring, maintaining, and optimizing servers and operating systems
• Strong Troubleshooting and Problem-Solving skills to identify and resolve technical issues
• Experience in providing Technical Support and excellent communication to address user needs effectively
• Knowledge of Network Administration, including managing firewalls, routers, and switches
• Understanding of Information Technology systems, protocols, and security practices
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field preferred
• Relevant certifications such as CompTIA Network+, Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator, or similar are a plus
