Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. iCapital is looking to hire an Associate / Assistant Vice President to join the Distribution team’s Midwest U.S. region. This role will oversee all aspects of wholesaling investment products to registered representatives while developing new relationships and managing multiple clients.
Responsibilities
- Leverage a consultative sales process to acquire new relationships, expand existing client relationships, and service existing clients
- Educate advisors on the merits of structured investments as part of client portfolios
- Continue to self-educate and be able to discuss our 200+ monthly offerings
- Work in close partnership with home offices and issuer partners on new offerings
- Analyze regional and product sales trends within participating broker-dealer firms and among individual Financial Advisors
- Onboard new clients to iCapital’s best-in-class network to support business growth
- Utilize contact management system to capture information and schedule follow up activities
Skills
- 5+ years of experience working within the investment industry in a client facing capacity (e.g., external wholesaler, internal wholesaler, relationship manager, product specialist)
- Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment and follow a rigorous sales process
- Able to sell and provide support for a diverse platform of structured investments and other Defined Outcome offerings
- Series 7 and 63 licenses are required
- Experience covering large independent broker-dealers such as Ameriprise
