Responsibilities
- Recommend target customer segments, geographic markets, and growth strategies
- Develop a prioritized list of prospective customers and strategic partners
- Leverage existing industry relationships to secure introductions and meetings
- Conduct outreach to independent optical retailers, optometrists, ophthalmologists
- Build and manage an active sales pipeline
- Work directly with company leadership to convert opportunities into long-term customer relationships
Skills
- 15+ years of experience within the U.S. optical industry
- Entrepreneurial mind-set with a desire to participate in building a growing business
- Extensive network of relationships across independent optical retailers, optical laboratories, buying groups, and industry organizations
- Previous experience in sales, operations, consulting, or business development within the ophthalmic lens industry
- Demonstrated ability to open doors and create business opportunities
