The Strategic Channel Sales Manager will drive growth by identifying and recruiting new channel partners, managing existing relationships, and expanding revenue through the indirect sales channel.
Responsibilities
- Identify and recruit new channel partners in the Service Provider, MSP and/or MSSP community to expand the company's presence in the Risk and Compliance space
- Run a targeted “land and expand” sales cycle to select prospective partners
- Manage and maintain relationships with existing channel partners, providing training, support, and resources to drive sales
- Execute a channel sales strategy to meet revenue targets
- Collaborate with the company's sales and marketing teams to create effective go-to-market strategies for our partners
- Act as a liaison between the company and its channel partners, communicating key product updates and marketing initiatives
- Analyze market trends and competitor activity to identify opportunities for growth in the channel
- Provide accurate and timely sales forecasts and pipeline reports
Skills
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Experience selling to Service Providers, MDR providers, MSPs and/or MSSPs (as opposed to VARs, etc.)
- High-level familiarity with working with service providers and their business operations
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of the GRC space, cybersecurity and related technology solutions
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets through channel partners
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field, preferred
- 3+ years of experience in channel sales, preferably in the software or technology industry
