[Remote] Sr Data Engineer

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. The Brixton Group is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to lead the design and delivery of enterprise-scale AWS data engineering solutions. This role involves driving architecture decisions, mentoring an offshore engineering team, and collaborating with clients to deliver scalable, high-performance data solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable AWS-based data engineering solutions
• Develop and optimize ETL pipelines using AWS Glue and PySpark
• Define data architecture patterns and evaluate design, scalability, and performance trade-offs
• Lead and mentor an offshore team of five data engineers
• Partner with client stakeholders to review technical solutions and architecture decisions
• Design and deliver high-performance transaction cache and data integration solutions

Skills

• 5+ years of hands-on AWS Glue development
• Advanced PySpark development experience
• Experience leading Data Engineering teams and solution architecture for enterprise projects
