[Remote] Senior Software Engineer, Payment Integrity

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Cohere Health is a healthcare analytics company committed to reducing the cost of care. They are seeking a Senior Software Engineer to design and build software applications that enhance clinician capabilities and ensure timely delivery of care.

Responsibilities

• Design and build high quality software applications which help clinicians to deliver the right care at the right place and right time
• Develop maintainable, efficient code in languages like NodeJS in the native cloud environment
• Conduct unit, integration, and system testing to identify bugs and ensure the delivery of the high-quality, secure code
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the feature functionality aligns with business and client requirements

Skills

• 6+ years of software development experience, including 2+ years in full-stack development
• Strong experience with React, JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3
• Backend experience with Node.js, microservices, and Python
• Experience designing scalable applications and database schemas
• Knowledge of authentication/authorization across systems and environments
• Familiarity with server-side templating languages
• Experience with unit testing, debugging, and AWS (Lambda, S3, EC2)
• Strong problem-solving, attention to detail, and communication skills
• Self-starter mindset with ability to identify and solve problems in a fast-paced startup environment
