Rush Street Interactive is a market leader in online casino and sports betting, currently operating real-money gaming with their brands. They are seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to join their Financial Planning & Analysis team to support budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling, while providing insights and recommendations to management.
Responsibilities
- Provides FP&A support including budgeting, reporting, and analysis
- Develop and maintain detailed financial models to support revenue, expense, and profitability analysis
- Demonstrated ability to leverage AI tools to enhance financial modeling, forecasting accuracy, and business decisions support
- Leads weekly/monthly reporting of revenue and operational KPIs, providing insight to management and identifying trends
- Reviews, benchmarks, and analyzes performance against competition with the goal of providing awareness and recommendations to management
- Create financial models to help evaluate a wide range of commercial opportunities both in the United States and Internationally
- Partner with business units to identify key drivers, trends, and to help execute company objectives
- Drive efficiency in FP&A processes by improving financial models, automation, and reporting tools
- Autonomously handle ad-hoc requests from the business
- Additional duties as assigned
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in FP&A, Public Accounting, and/or Corporate Finance
- Advanced financial modeling skills, superior Excel skills, and proven ability to apply AI strategically
- Strong analytical and quantitative abilities with attention to detail and accuracy
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Ability to think and work independently while supporting multiple areas and projects simultaneously
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Excellent organization and planning skills
- Strong problem solving and analytical thinking / innovation skills
- Able to travel occasionally both domestically and internationally
- CPA preferred
- Previous gaming experience and / or an avid sports fan is a plus
- Experience with NetSuite Planning and Budgeting software is a plus
- Experience presenting to Senior Leadership is a plus
