Ascension Federal Services, Inc. is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer who will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the infrastructure and tools necessary for the development, testing, and deployment of software applications. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software development and experience with cloud-based infrastructure and automation tools.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement cloud-based infrastructure using tools such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform
- Develop and maintain automation tools for deployment, testing, and monitoring of software applications
- Collaborate with development teams to ensure that infrastructure and tools meet their needs
- Monitor and troubleshoot infrastructure and applications to ensure high availability and performance
- Implement security best practices to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of data
- Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in DevOps and cloud computing
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- 10+ years of experience in software development
- 5+ years DevOps
- Experience with cloud-based infrastructure and automation tools such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform
- Strong scripting skills in languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell
- Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
