The role involves strategic collaboration with marketing teams to create compelling messaging while ensuring brand voice consistency and participating in content strategy and campaign planning.
Responsibilities
- Balance hands-on writing with strategic collaboration, developing high-volume, short-form copy across digital channels including site, app, and email (e.g., subject lines)
- Partner closely with marketing to understand campaign briefs and translate strategy into clear, compelling, on-brand messaging
- Work cross-functionally with creative, product, and marketing teams to ensure alignment across campaigns
- Provide real-time feedback, edits, and direction to writers and designers
- Play a key role in proofreading and maintaining brand voice consistency across all content
- Participate in campaign planning meetings and check-ins
- Contribute to overall storytelling and content strategy to support performance-driven marketing initiatives
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in English, Creative Writing, Communications, or related field
- 6+ years of copywriting/content strategy/marketing experience in retail or e-commerce highly preferred
- Proven ability to lead campaigns and develop content strategy (not just execution)
- Strong portfolio + writing samples showcasing: Conceptual thinking, omnichannel campaigns, short- and long-form performance-driven content
- Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills with strong attention to detail
- Experience in fast-paced, high-volume environments with tight deadlines
- Ability to collaborate cross-functionally and influence stakeholders
- Strong understanding of brand voice, storytelling, and performance marketing
- Remote - must be willing to work CST
