Wymara Resort and Villas is expanding its team and is seeking a dedicated Sales Manager - Leisure to lead their luxury leisure market initiatives. The role involves managing sales prospecting, account management, and operational support to enhance guest experiences.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for liaising with all departments to prepare for and conduct proper site inspections and fam trip experiences
- Conduct proper site inspections to interested clients with the aim to show the resort for potential future business
- Administrative support in communication of retail and wholesale partners rates, agreements, promotions and changes to contract
- Issuing of agreements for all luxury consortia and wholesale accounts, as directed by the Director of Sales + Marketing and relevant to the strategy of Wymara
- Working with portals such as, but not limited to, Opera, and CVENT
- Maintain copies of all contracts/agreements/promotions for reference, and communication to relevant teams, including the reservations department
- Proactive sales meetings, telesales calls and training webinars to luxury consortia travel agents and wholesale accounts in accordance with sales call productivity targets
- Research and prospecting for business potential opportunities
- Proactive, professional and timely follow up of all sales meetings, sales trip/missions and exhibitions with the relevant information on Wymara Resort + Villas and promotions
- Management of luxury consortia partner portals, ensuring all information, content and images are up to date, promotions loaded and regularly reviewed
- Regular review and updating of wholesale/leisure partner websites, to ensure up to date images, content and promotions (where relevant)
- Weekly sales report to be shared with Director of Sales + Marketing showing performance activity of sales calls/telesales and market updates
- Coordinate with Front Office Manager and physically participate in arrival and departure process of fam trips
- Liaise with Front Office Manager for fam trips concerning rooms to ensure seamless experience
- Provide back up and support to Front Desk team as required
- Work closely with the Director of Food + Beverage to support the operation of the fam trip in lead up and during the event
- All administrative tasks in support of the sales process of the retail/consortia and wholesale/leisure sales business
- Review and analyze account production and hold account review meetings as directed by the Director of Sales + Marketing
- Cover the Groups + Events Sales process as required during vacation leave/time off of our Sales Manager - MICE
- Ability to work nights and weekends and travel when needed
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Required to sit or stand for extended periods
- To understand and strictly adhere to the Rules & Regulations established in the Employees Handbook and the Hotel’s policy on Fire, Hygiene, Health and Safety
- To always work to the best of your ability in a professional manner
