They are seeking a Reporting Analyst to work remotely, focusing on analytics, business intelligence, and data analysis within the public sector healthcare industry.
Responsibilities
- Successful candidate will have 3+ years of experience in analytics, business intelligence, or data analysis roles preferably in the public sector healthcare industry
- Proficiency in SQL for querying BigQuery data warehouse environments
- Experience designing star schema-based reports and dashboards, including fact/dimension table navigation
- Familiarity with Looker Studio (free tier) or comparable GCP-native BI tools; willingness to evaluate and adopt the tool selected for this engagement
- Strong requirements gathering and facilitation skills, including experience running stakeholder workshops
- Ability to translate complex EHR data concepts into clear, usable reports for non-technical audiences
- Understanding of HIPAA minimum necessary access principles as they apply to reporting and dashboard design
- Experience delivering end-user training on analytics tools and data products
- Google BigQuery — querying Gold layer tables; sample query development
- Looker Studio (or BI tool TBD) — operational dashboard and report development
- GCP Dataplex — data catalog navigation and metadata reference for report design
- SQL — Gold layer view design, aggregation logic, reporting queries
