RG&T Solutions is seeking a Senior Programmer/Analyst responsible for designing, developing, and implementing software solutions to meet business needs. The role involves leading junior programmers, conducting client meetings, and collaborating with various stakeholders to understand system requirements and deliver effective solutions.
Responsibilities
- Integrate internal and external applications using J2EE BUS and modern technologies
- Troubleshoot and resolve system issues via remote support
- Manage version control systems including CVS and Subversion
- Support application distribution, updates, and OS compatibility
- Participate in disaster recovery planning, testing, and documentation
- Generate reports on project progress and system status
- Support and maintain statewide applications and databases, including law and court systems
- Ensure security policies, system backups, and recovery strategies are in place and effective
Skills
- Minimum 10 years of programming experience with Embarcadero RAD Studio, C++ Builder, and related tools
- Extensive experience with cross-platform application integration on Windows, AIX, and Mainframe systems
- At least 6 years managing Linux environments with Oracle, CVS, MySQL, and Apache
- 3+ years Java and web development with Microsoft .NET framework
- Proficiency in Windows programming, UNIX, and database management
- Strong programming, leadership, analytical, and communication skills
- Problem-solving and attention to detail
- Experience supporting large-scale applications and disaster recovery processes
