[Remote] Quality Analyst

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Diverse Lynx is seeking a skilled and dedicated Quality Engineer to join their dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for testing digital solutions and ensuring the delivery of high-quality software by identifying, documenting, and resolving issues.

Responsibilities

• Perform functional and regression testing
• Develop and execute test cases based on project requirements, user stories, and business logic
• Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and other stakeholders to understand system requirements and develop appropriate test scenarios
• Identify, document, and report software defects in a detailed and timely manner
• Conduct system integration testing (SIT) and user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure business requirements are met
• Analyze the impact of new functionality and changes to the system to adjust test plans accordingly
• Work with the team to identify areas for test automation and implement automated test scripts where possible
• Review test results, track defect resolution progress, and ensure timely closure of defects
• Participate in daily stand-ups and sprint planning as part of the Agile/Scrum process
• Continuously improve testing processes and methods to enhance overall quality and efficiency

Skills

• Proven experience as a Tester/QA Engineer
• Familiarity with testing tools (e.g., QTest, Tosca, Jira)
• Strong knowledge of test case creation, test execution, defect tracking, and reporting
• Experience in API testing (REST, SOAP) and integration testing
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies (SAFe Scrum)
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills
• Knowledge of database management and SQL for validating data integrity
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• 3+ years of experience in testing digital applications
• Certification in software testing (e.g., ISTQB) is a plus
• Experience with test automation frameworks
• Familiarity with performance and load testing tools
• Experience with version control systems like Git, and CI/CD pipelines
