Mill Creek, LLC specializes in outfitting furniture and equipment for various sectors, and they are seeking a Project Manager for their Field Team. The PM will oversee healthcare facility outfitting or construction projects, requiring strong leadership and contract management skills, with significant travel for onsite installations.
Responsibilities
- Prior experience managing federal or military healthcare projects under USACE, VA, or DHA oversight is preferred
- Proven ability to write, negotiate, and manage contracts
- Ability to read and redline drawings
- Proficiency in project management tools (Procore, ProContractor), Audaxware, Microsoft Office, SharePoint, and OneDrive
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills
- Willingness to travel 50%+ and support onsite execution when required
- Familiarity with FAR clauses, small business subcontracting plans, and payment application workflows ( WAWF, IPP)
- Proven success leading teams including designers, subcontractors, and vendors in a deadline-driven environment
- Ability to handle RFI processes, manage change orders, and communicate scope impacts with the government
- Familiarity with QASP/3-phase QC processes and ability to oversee or support field safety compliance
Skills
- Must have experience using Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Power Point, Outlook, and Access) and scheduling software (Primavera and/or MS Project)
- Experience with Federal contracting is required
- Experience in and ability to utilize the 3-phase inspection program
- Must be well versed in broad based Architectural, Engineering and construction principles
- Must be able to pass a background check
- Must have B.S. degree in engineering, architecture or construction management or 10 years of direct experience
- Minimum 10 years of construction supervisory experience with at least 3 years in a project manager or superintendent position on similar projects
- Demonstrated experience estimating and managing self-performed work activities and subcontracted work
- Must be able to effectively communicate in English, both written and spoken word
- Working knowledge of architectural, mechanical and Heavy Civil Work
- Have a high level of proficiency with spreadsheets, email and other software used in the construction industry
- Current safety credentials to include OSHA 30, 1st Aid and CPR
- Prior experience managing federal or military healthcare projects under USACE, VA, or DHA oversight is preferred
- EIT is preferred but not a requirement
- Professional credentials – either Engineer in Training (EIT), or Associate Constructor (AC) in good standing
- Current CQC certification issued by USACE a plus
- General Contractor's License a plus
