Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. MajorKey Technologies is a technology strategy, design and operations partner to public and private organizations around the world. In this role as a Project Manager, you will lead and guide technical staff on assigned Identity and Access Management projects, acting as a liaison between the client and the MajorKey team.
Responsibilities
- Monitor progress to ensure deadlines, standards, and cost targets are met for IAM projects
- Plan project stages and assess business implication for each stage
- Manage project execution to ensure adherence to budget, schedule, and scope
- Develop or update project plans for IAM projects including information such as project objectives, technologies, systems, information specifications, schedules, funding, and staffing
- Monitor or track project milestones and deliverables
- Confer with project personnel to identify and resolve problems
- Develop and manage work breakdown structure (WBS) of information technology projects
- Submit project deliverables, ensuring adherence to quality standards
- Prepare project status reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends
- Direct or coordinate activities of project personnel
- Establish and execute a project communication plan
- Assign duties, responsibilities, and spans of authority to project personnel
- Create, revise, and execute project work plans as appropriate to meet needs and requirements based on company process standards
- Effectively apply project management methodology and enforces project standards
- Identify project resources as needed and assign individual responsibilities
Skills
- Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, leadership technique, production methods, and coordination of people and resources
- Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services. This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction
- Bachelor's Degree in IT Project Management, Information Systems, or related majors required
- 3+ years in a Project Management role, preferably IT related
- Experience with Identity and Access Management or Information Security
- PMP Certification
