Hertz is a leading vehicle rental company, and they are seeking a Program Strategy Manager to define and execute strategies for their ride share mobility services. The role involves managing product portfolio strategies, analyzing market trends, and collaborating across teams to innovate and influence leadership decisions.
Responsibilities
- Own Product Portfolio Strategy: Develop frameworks to manage a diverse product mix, aligning pricing, fleet composition, and customer segments for maximum impact
- Analyze Market & Customer Trends: Use data-driven insights to identify opportunities for new products and enhancements that expand our Total Addressable Market (TAM). Model profitability expectations for new products across a range of scenarios
- Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Partner with operations, revenue management, and technology teams to bring product strategies to life
- Drive Innovation: Launch pilots, test new offerings, and iterate based on performance metrics and customer feedback
- Influence Leadership Decisions: Present strategic recommendations to senior stakeholders and guide investment priorities
Skills
- 3-5 years of experience in demand planning, forecasting, or revenue strategy—bonus points if it's in mobility, logistics, or tech
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Data Science, or a related field
- Fluent in Excel and SQL
- Experience building models and automated reports that drive real decisions
- Experience using tools like Tableau or Power BI to turn data into stories
- Experience building or improving demand models, scenario plans, or forecasting systems
- Experience working across teams—operations, product, finance, or fleet
- Ability to explain technical insights in a way that makes sense to everyone in the room
- Experience presenting to senior leaders and influencing decisions with data
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced environments and ambiguity
- Desire to be part of something bigger and care about the future of mobility
- Master's degree
