Gainwell Technologies is an industry leader in healthcare solutions, and they are seeking a Professional Accountant to assist the Revenue team with monthly revenue and billing entries. The role involves creating and updating reports, performing reconciliations, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations.
Responsibilities
- Assist with accrual and invoice entries, including outreach to business teams
- Assist in the creation and updating of monthly, quarterly and annual reporting, mostly in Excel spreadsheets
- Assists with variance analysis and account reconciliation
- Assists with internal and external audit requests and questions
- Will learn and comply with HIPPA privacy and security rules
- Will be a team player, able to communicate clearly with all levels of co-workers but able to work independently
- May need to work extended time during monthly close in order to meet deadlines
Skills

- Proficient in working in spreadsheets with Pivot tables and multiple formulas
- Good communication skills
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or related field preferred
- Three (3) or more years of experience in accounting or finance with a focus on revenue preferred
- Previous experience or willingness to learn PeopleSoft
