The Platform Engineer will support and enhance cloud-native infrastructure and DevSecOps processes while working closely with development, security, and operations teams to improve the reliability and scalability of enterprise platforms.
Responsibilities
- Supporting and enhancing cloud-native infrastructure
- Improving the reliability, security, and scalability of enterprise platforms
- Supporting a Neo4j graph database environment
- Building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines
- Automating operational tasks
- Supporting containerized applications
- Managing deployments across cloud environments
- Troubleshooting infrastructure issues
- Supporting platform upgrades
- Monitoring system performance
- Helping establish best practices for platform operations
Skills
- 3–4 years of experience in Platform Engineering, DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), or Systems Administration
- Experience building, deploying, and supporting Neo4j environments
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitLab, or similar tools
- Experience with cloud platforms (GCP preferred)
- Experience with infrastructure automation and scripting
- Experience with monitoring and observability tools such as Splunk or AppDynamics
- Understanding of networking concepts including TCP/IP, DNS, routing, firewalls, and load balancing
- Experience troubleshooting infrastructure and platform issues
- Understanding of security concepts including certificates, TLS, and secrets management
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Experience with RKE or OpenShift Kubernetes environments
- Experience with Container Storage Interface (CSI), preferably Portworx CSI
- Experience with API gateways and API management platforms
- Experience supporting graph database applications
- Interest in DevSecOps best practices and platform automation
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
- Strong collaboration and documentation skills
- Passion for building reliable, secure, and scalable platforms
