As a News Analyst, you will conduct research on breaking news related to M&A transactions and financial markets, conveying information in a clear and concise format for distribution across various platforms.
Responsibilities
- Staying engaged with relevant news sources throughout the week (WSJ, Reuters, Seeking Alpha, etc.)
- Reading the relevant portions of financial filings related stories you’re covering
- Writing clear, concise news stories at least twice a week
- Write concise news alerts in an Instagram Stories format at least twice a week
- Engaging in the development and improvement of our News Division
Skills
- Undergraduate student specializing in finance, management, economics, engineering, computer science or similar (we welcome applications from all universities across the globe)
- Accentuated interest in finance, capital markets and banking, as well as digital marketing and social media
- Commercial and business awareness in the financial services industry
- Attention to details and highly organized
- Core soft skills – teamwork, adaptability, resilience, international mindset
