Remote Nevada School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)

Job Title: Remote School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) Location: Remote (serving students in Nevada) Employment Type: Full-Time Schedule: School Calendar (aligned with Nevada school districts) Position Overview We are seeking a dedicated and licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide virtual services to 6–12 aged students across Nevada. This remote position focuses on delivering high-quality teletherapy services, supporting students with speech, language, communication, and related disorders in a school-based setting. The ideal candidate is tech-savvy, organized, and passionate about helping students succeed academically and socially. Key Responsibilities • Provide virtual speech and language therapy services to students in accordance with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) • Conduct remote assessments, evaluations, and progress monitoring • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans • Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families to support student outcomes • Maintain accurate documentation, including session notes, IEP updates, and compliance records • Participate in virtual IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions • Utilize teletherapy platforms and digital tools effectively to engage students • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and district regulations, including IDEA guidelines Qualifications • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders • Active Nevada SLP license • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA • Previous experience in a school-based setting strongly preferred • Experience with teletherapy or willingness to learn virtual service delivery • Strong communication, organizational, and time-management skills • Reliable internet connection and a quiet, professional workspace Technical Requirements • Ability to navigate teletherapy platforms, electronic documentation systems, and virtual meeting tools • Access to a computer with webcam, microphone, and secure internet connection • Familiarity with digital therapy materials and online assessment tools Benefits (if applicable) • Competitive compensation (hourly or salaried) • Flexible scheduling options • Access to digital therapy resources and materials • Clinical support and professional development opportunities • Work-from-home convenience Preferred Skills • Bilingual (Spanish/English) is a plus • Experience working with diverse populations and varying disability categories • Strong ability to engage students in a virtual environment Compensation for this position ranges from $40.91 to $60.91.
