EBC Associates, LLC is a growing MEP consulting engineering firm seeking a licensed Professional Engineer (P.E.) with 8–15 years of experience to join their team in a senior-level role. The role involves leading MEP projects, managing client relationships, and supporting business development while mentoring junior staff.
Responsibilities
- Lead multidisciplinary MEP projects from concept through construction administration
- Manage client relationships and serve as a primary point of contact
- Coordinate across mechanical, electrical, and plumbing disciplines to ensure cohesive system design
- Oversee project schedules, budgets, and deliverables
- Perform and review engineering calculations, design documents, and specifications
- Conduct site visits, field investigations, and construction progress reviews as needed
- Support business development efforts including proposal preparation, networking, and client expansion
- Mentor junior staff and contribute to internal standards and best practices
Skills
- Active Professional Engineer (P.E.) license required
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical, electrical, or related engineering field
- 8–15 years of relevant MEP consulting experience
- Demonstrated success managing multidisciplinary projects
- Strong understanding of applicable codes and standards (IBC, NEC, ASHRAE, NFPA, etc.)
- Proven ability to work independently in a remote environment
- Excellent communication and client-facing skills
- Experience with AutoCAD, Revit, and standard engineering software tools
- Advanced degree in mechanical, electrical, or related engineering field
