They are seeking a Managing Consultant to oversee complex client engagements and drive the successful delivery of Workday Financials implementations while mentoring junior consultants and supporting business development efforts.
Responsibilities
- Lead client Workday Financial Management workstreams, ensuring best practices are applied across Core Financials, Procurement, and Expense Management
- Oversee project lifecycles, including scope, timelines, and deliverables, while managing risks and ensuring successful outcomes
- Partner with senior client stakeholders to align Workday solutions with strategic business objectives and financial processes
- Design, configure, and deliver scalable Workday solutions, including business processes, reporting, dashboards, and calculated fields
- Support data conversion, integrations, and testing activities across complex client environments
- Mentor and develop junior and senior consultants, fostering delivery excellence and knowledge sharing
- Identify enhancement opportunities with new Workday releases and ensure adoption of innovative features
- Contribute to business development through client presentations, proposal support, and relationship management
Skills
- 4+ years of hands-on Workday Financials implementation experience across Core Financials, Procurement, and Expense Management
- Proven success managing large-scale Workday Financials implementations with multiple clients
- Strong project workstream experience, with the ability to manage deliverables and timelines effectively
- Advanced report writing skills with experience building dashboards, custom validations, condition rules, and calculated fields
- Solid understanding of financial systems, processes, and end-to-end business cycles (Record-to-Report, Procure-to-Pay, Customer-to-Cash, etc.)
- Proficiency in Workday reporting tools and tenant configuration practices
- Excellent communication (written and verbal) and presentation skills
- Ability to manage multiple clients concurrently, including short-duration projects
- Bachelor's or advanced degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, or related field
- Workday Certification or Workday PRO certification highly desirable
- Adaptive Insights experience is a plus
