FTS, Inc. is partnering with a leading national organization to identify an M&A Integration Engineer to join its growing internal technology team. This role is responsible for supporting the technical integration of newly acquired businesses and ensuring a seamless onboarding experience for incoming employees through hands-on infrastructure support and collaboration with cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities
- Lead the technical onboarding and integration of newly acquired offices into the organization's enterprise technology environment, including:Evaluating existing IT infrastructure and identifying integration requirements
- Installing, configuring, and deploying network hardware and related technologies at locations nationwide
- Diagnosing and resolving network, connectivity, and infrastructure issues during and after implementation
- Travel regularly to acquisition sites to perform assessments, deployments, upgrades, and post-integration support
- Partner with internal technology teams to evaluate, recommend, and implement new infrastructure solutions and best practices
- Serve as an escalation point for complex technical issues, working closely with the Service Desk to drive timely resolution
- Develop and maintain accurate network documentation, diagrams, and integration records
- Deliver a high-touch onboarding experience by providing hands-on technical support and guidance to employees joining through acquisitions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure technology integrations are completed efficiently with minimal disruption to business operations
Skills
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in IT infrastructure, network engineering, or systems administration
- Experience supporting multi-site environments, office deployments, or IT integration projects
- Cisco CCNA required
- Hands-on experience designing, deploying, and supporting Cisco Meraki networking solutions
- Experience implementing and supporting ShoreTel and/or Mitel voice systems
- Strong understanding of enterprise networking concepts, including TCP/IP, OSI Model, SNMP, VLANs, subnetting, and network security
- 3+ years of experience designing, implementing, and supporting LAN/WAN infrastructure and secure enterprise networks
- Experience supporting remote offices and distributed enterprise environments
- Working knowledge of Microsoft technologies, including Microsoft 365, Exchange Online, Windows Server, and Windows desktop operating systems
- Experience coordinating with third-party vendors and technology partners
- Strong troubleshooting, communication, and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, travel-focused environment
- M&A integration experience strongly preferred
- CCNP or equivalent advanced networking experience preferred
- Previous consulting, field engineering, implementation, or customer-facing technical experience is a plus
