Swift Public Adjusters is seeking a driven and relationship-focused Outside Sales Representative to sell their services and expand their network of referral partners in the Springfield, MO market. The role involves developing referral partnerships, generating leads, and ensuring client satisfaction while navigating the insurance claims process.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain a network of referral sources for insurance claims in the Springfield, MO region
- Conduct educational meetings about our public adjusting services with referral partners
- Evaluate claims submitted by referral partners to determine viability
- Provide regular updates to partners concerning the progress of referred claims
- Generate qualified leads by soliciting residential and commercial property owners
- Identify customer needs through direct engagement and consultations
- Sell our services to clients and follow up until the contract is signed or the sale is lost
- Ensure client satisfaction through transparent communication and proactive support
- Design and implement strategies for generating sales through direct-to-client and referral-based lead generation and lead nurturing
- Prepare periodic activity reports documenting calls, meetings, leads, sales, lost opportunities, etc
- Provide territorial sales forecasts and market analysis as requested
- Establish measurable sales objectives and performance targets
- Recommend improvements to marketing materials and sales processes based on experience and client feedback
Skills
- Existing relationships with commercial property owners, contractors, realtors, property management companies, or insurance agents in the Springfield, MO market
- Extroverted and socially confident, not afraid to cold-call or talk to strangers while remaining focused on generating leads and making sales
- Well-developed soft skills (customer-service-minded, organized and assiduous, analytical with creative problem-solving abilities, etc.)
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or related field OR five years of relevant sales or business development experience
- Proficient with common computer and web programs like Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat, Google Workspace, and CRM systems
- Knowledge of property insurance and the claims process
- Comfortable with heights (ladders and roofs for occasional damage inspections)
